A solo exhibition by Sebastian Curi

Jumping and evolving from digital illustration to acrylic, from drawing to screen printing, Sebastian Curi has created a vibrant and powerful graphic universe.

In this artistic itinerary, the hands are the expressive subject in an ongoing series that began in 2018 as a regular exercise between projects. This is the first time that all these subjects are articulated as an exhibition.

The body of work is developed in silkscreen prints, acrylics and sculptures in the translation of his digital language. The tangible is resignified; the full colors, the brushstroke textures and the expressive lines form an energetic and powerful whole.

Curi's work is part of the concrete and growing movement of artists that have emerged from commercial illustration and design and who are now blurring the boundaries between contemporary and graphic art. In this line of thought, digital languages are rematerialized and formats become an infinite universe of experimentation.

Translations can be viewed from Sept 24 to Nov 5 at Pelayo 52 in Madrid
